PadMay is an annual event in celebration of our beloved former queen and senator of Naboo, Padmé Naberrie Amidala.
I’ve been celebrating PadMay since 2016 on my tumblr sideblog dedicated to politics and Star Wars. I created prompt lists for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. To celebrate five years of PadMay, this year there are two ways to participate:
1. Prompt Lists
Use any of the four prompt lists linked above. Mix and match!
You may answer as many, or as few, as you like and there is no specific format. The prompts are jumping off points and may be considered in universe or meta. Create something new, promote something you’ve previously made, or share a favorite work of someone else’s (with proper credit! Share their post if possible). It is also fine to answer prompts on a different day than that which corresponds with the number (if you miss it, or it is simply easier for you).
2. Daily Padmé
Pick a day to celebrate Padmé however you want. Anything goes!
You may use any prompt or make up your own. Select 1-3 days. May 4 is a fandom wide holiday and therefore not available and I am reserving May 31 as a finale. I will post a master list of participants on tumblr and link from twitter.

Guidelines
For both options, all formats are welcome: essay, discussion, fiction, artwork, bulleted lists, gifsets, vids, vlogs, comics, cosplay, anything goes! They may be posted to tumblr, twitter, instagram, ao3, facebook, dreamwidth, youtube, tiktok, your podcast, your website, wherever! There is an AO3 collection available here.
When sharing on social media, tag your posts #PadMay and/or #PadMay2021! Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have, here or on tumblr, twitter, instagram or facebook.
There is no right or wrong way to participate! The purpose of PadMay is to celebrate Star Wars and Padmé, not create work or drama.
